This is a spice rack that I got from Bunnings and there was a lot of wasted space in it so I took the top of it, painted it and turned it on it's side and it fitted heaps of the little spice jars that I picked up in a cheapie shop......but then I had too many and had to go and buy another one,,,,so by cutting the edge of one side, top and bottom they sit on top of each other, they really keep all my flowers nice and neat.

And this is how they look now.

This is one of those little sets of drawers that you get from Bunnings, I had them for ages and couldn't decide what to do with them...... I got sick of them one day and just quickly spray painted then white and stamped them, I thought I can change them leter if I don't like them, but I do so they can stay like that for a while.

This shows the pegboard that I have on the wall beside my desk, I got this idea from Rachelle and it's so handy to hang this I use regulary. I really have to tell you that NOOOOOO,,,, my desk does not usually look this neat......and it still has to be painted white to match everything else but it's never not being used long enough to get to paint it.
This shows the clear containers that sit on the shelf on my desk, they are great, perfectly clear and have 18 compartments in each one so I can see exactly whats in each one.

Moving around the room this is the other side, I have a long bench on this side,,,which is very handy to dump more crap on LOL...I often have to move to here when my desk is overflowing.

More Piccies

The cupboard under the window is another auction find, have you guessed by now that I Loooove auctions and garage sales, searching for things I can paint up to look shabby chic...when I get my new room which is going to be about 3 times the size of this one so it won't look as crowded,,,,well that is the general idea but knowing me I won't be able to keep away from auctions and will keep finding 'treasure's that I can't live without' ...LOL ...those of you that know me know that I really can't help myself, every time I see something interesting I immediately think "what can I do with that" and my little mind goes wild, I honestly can't help it, I just love shabby chic and pretty things and this is MY ROOM so I can do anything I like in here,,,,not so with the rest of the house I have to restrain myself there, it's a very small little old cottage that we are doing up and although my husband is a bit shabby,,,,ROTFL (because he is always dressed to work on the house) but he does scrub up okay,,,he is not so keen on the chic side, don't tell him I said that LOL, so I have kept the rest of the house fairly neutral ,,,,,but I love my room and spend most of my time in there, I feel relaxed in there, it really is my sanctuary.

A corner of my room that I love, the little cupboard was actually a box with a divider so I turned it on it's side and hung it on the wall (because I had MORE than enough boxes to sit on shelves) and now it holds Gesso and texture paste.I have put close up piccies of some of the other things at the bottom of this blog.

I made this clock as a bit of a joke to show what happens to time when I am scrapping, just one look says it all, I made Rozzie one of these as well for her scraproom and she said she has had lots of comments about it,,she loves it.

I love my ribbon holder, I made it from a shadow box and it holds the AC ribbons perfectly but I still had so many ribbons I had to come up with another idea to store the rst of them so I put hooks along the bottom to hang ribbons off so they are easy to see and look nice and neat,,,,,I also made the gorgeous little teddy that is sitting on top, he is soooo dorky but totally lovable.
